You don't need me to edit your writing or fix your grammar issues. AI can do that for free.Instead, I:

- help you understand what kind of worker/writer you are, and how to build strategies for planning effectively and writing efficiently tailored to your particular working style
- point out every area where your writing could be stronger
- show you 2-3 different ways you could improve each area of potential improvement
- explain in detail what each improvement option accomplishes and the ways it will impact the tone and content of your communication
- let you choose the path that feels right to youThe result: You're not just improving a piece of writing—you're becoming a better writer. You learn to see your writing in new ways that will benefit you for the rest of your life and reduce your dependence on outside help with your writing.

Writing Coaching

I work with authors writing books, professionals building thought leadership, and others working on serious writing projects that represent critical steps toward achieving major goals.

Tutoring

I work with high school students to help them craft compelling application essays, as well as college and graduate school students looking to improve their writing skills for research papers and other coursework.

  • What students learn: How to think clearly, organize ideas, and write with an authentic voice—not formulas or tricks. As someone who got into and excelled while at Harvard and Rice through strong written communication (not just perfect test scores), I teach the qualities that actually get noticed by admissions officers: clarity, authenticity, and compelling storytelling.

  • How we work together: I don't edit your essays for you. I show you where they could be stronger, give you multiple approaches for improvement, explain the trade-offs, and help you choose. You learn to make your writing better yourself.
